Pretty cool place, and I hate to admit it, but the tagline "Daddy's little nothing" made me laugh.
I might draw some hate here for saying this, but I was glad that Asami was able to reconcile with her father, if not for his sake, then surely her own.
Though he did not earn Asami's respect or deserve her love at the end of book one, if things had gone as they were left there, and they never spoken again- Asami is the type of person who would have always carried the burden of his exile from her. and felt guilt about the death of her father if she had not forgiven him.
It wouldn't have been so much of what they'd said to one another, but what had not been said, and what could never *be* said after his death that would hurt Asami so.
I think that Korra would draw upon her experiences of loss, some of her own mistakes, and them put them in perspective for Asami as she underwent the grieving process for Hiroshi.
